Things are clearly heating up in the race for the GOP nomination. Last week, Mitt Romney accused Newt Gingrich that he was a Washington insider and that he resigned in disgrace. He also said that the former Speaker of the House was an influence peddler and an inside player.
Sean invited Gingrich on to 'Hannity' to respond to Romney's claims. "I think what we have is a very rattled Romney campaign which is floundering and they don't have any way to build him up because they can't talk about his record as governor. They can't talk about what he did during the Reagan-Bush years because he reputed them. He voted for Paul Tsongas in the Democratic primary in 1992. He gave money to Democrats in 1992. So, he can't go back and complete with me. So, all he is doing now is piling on as much mud as he can find to see if he can somehow drown the Gingrich campaign," Newt explained.
