How about we take a look at a few of the outrageous ways that your federal government chooses to spend your tax dollars. All of these examples come from CNSNews:
A team from the University of California-Santa Cruz will spend nearly $300,000 of U.S. taxpayer money to study a rare language spoken by just 45,000 people in the Mariana Islands, which include the North Mariana Islands in Micronesia, a United States commonwealth, and Guam.
The State Department through its Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor is planning to spend $450,000 in taxpayer dollars “to support programs that increase protection of transgender persons who face acute forms of violence and harassment” in other countries.
And the scandal-ridden IRS is looking to hire a “diversity and inclusion” specialist, with a minimum salary of over $123,000 a year.
Can't make this stuff up!
