Did you wake up this past Tuesday morning thinking you were still dreaming when you turned on the TV and saw Katie Couric co-anchoring ‘Good Morning America,’ frantically flipped the channel only to see Sarah Palin co-hosting the ‘Today’ show with none other than Matt Lauer!?
Don’t worry America, she has not joined the lamestream media for good. Although she did give their ratings quite a boost, pushing viewership up to 5.5 million. It was a long and busy day for the former Governor who joined Sean on his live TV program that same night to weigh in as votes came in for the DC, Maryland and Wisconsin primaries. All three went to Romney.
Palin alludes to her belief that the GOP candidate race is “getting closer to the end.” Many in the Republican party are calling for the remaining candidates to drop out after Romney’s big Tuesday win. Despite any pressure, Santorum indicated last night that he would compete in the April 24th primaries in five states, including his home state of Pennsylvania, where his campaign believes a win would be his gateway to continue on competing in the May primaries which have higher percentages of conservative voters.
