James O'Keefe's Project Veritas has released its latest bombshell video, this time capturing a CNN producer admitting that the news network's relentless coverage of the Trump-Russia narrative is a cynical business decision and, in the producers words, a "mostly bullsh*t" story.

In the video, entitled "American Pravda", Project Veritas' undercover journalist discusses CNN's coverage with John Bonifield, a long-time Supervising Producer at the Georgia based news network.

At one point in the video, Bonifield admits that CNN's primary motivation is ratings.

"It’s a business, people are like the media has an ethical phssssss," Bonifield says derisively. "All the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school you’re just like, that’s adorable. That’s adorable. This is a business.”

Bonifield also explains that the wall-to-wall coverage of Russia comes from the top, CNN CEO Jeff Zucker.

“Just to give you some context, President Trump pulled out of the climate accords and for a day and a half we covered the climate accords," Bonifield tells the Project Veritas undercover journalist. "And the CEO of CNN [Jeff Zucker] said in our internal meeting, he said 'good job everybody covering the climate accords, but we’re done with that, let’s get back to Russia.'"

The Supervising Producer also admits that there is a lack of evidence driving the Trump-Russia story, and that it is "mostly bullsh*t."

“I mean, it’s mostly bullshit right now,” Bonifield acknowledges. “Like, we don’t have any giant proof.” Bonifeld goes on to add that President Trump is right to call the story a "witch hunt."

According to James O'Keefe, this video is only the first in a series.

“To report not on facts, but instead on narratives that yield high ratings, is exactly the definition of fake news,” said James O’Keefe. “We said we are going after the media, and there is a lot more to come.”
