Senior Presidential advisor Kellyanne Conway ripped the legal team surrounding special counsel Bob Mueller, slamming the former FBI chief for hiring democratic loyalists who never “wanted Trump to be POTUS.”

Conway vented her frustration on twitter, following a Federal Exchange Commission report that claimed over $50,000 had been donated to the democratic party by over half of the lawyers hired by Mueller’s office.

According to the filing, one key prosecutor donated substantial amounts of money to prominent democrats, such as Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton, and Chuck Schumer.

Conway’s comments come on the heels of unconfirmed media reports that President Trump was so upset by the FEC report he was considering replacing Mueller as special counsel for the Russian probe.

The White House squashed those rumors on Tuesday, saying the President has “no intention” of replacing Bob Mueller to lead the Russian investigation. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein also confirmed the former FBI boss isn’t “going to be fired without good cause.”

“As long as I’m in this position, he’s not going to be fired without good cause,” said Rosenstein. “I’m not going to follow any orders unless I believe those are lawful and appropriate orders.”
