President Trump came out swinging this morning against the intelligence communities illegal leaking of sensitive information to the media.

In a series of tweets, Trump called the the media's obsession with exposing a "Russia connection" to his campaign "non-sense", and slammed the intel community for giving information to The New York Times and The Washington Post:

President Trump added that the characterization of his administration being "soft on Russia" is misleading, especially in light of the fecklessness of the previous administration's Russia policy.

Trump's criticism comes in the wake of the resignation of White House National Security Advisor Michael T. Flynn, who was forced to resign in large part due to leaked information from the U.S. intel community.
