During a closed door meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, President Trump raged at the Palestinian leader, accusing him of misleading him during his trip to the White House earlier in May.

According to a report from The Times of Israel, Abbas and his fellow ministers were "shocked" into silence by the President's admonition.

The Times of Israel reported:

“You tricked me in DC! You talked there about your commitment to peace, but the Israelis showed me your involvement in incitement [against Israel],” Trump is said to have shouted at a shocked Abbas.

The TV report said the outburst was followed by several minutes of shocked silence from the Palestinians, and that the meeting was very tense before the two sides managed to get back on track.

The Palestinian Authority has denied the claim, calling the reports of an enraged Trump "a total fabrication and a lie" according to Breitbart.
