Former President of Mexico Vincente Fox has been making headlines these past weeks for his comments regarding Donald Trump's plan to build a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico. During a recent interview Fox told Fusion's Jorge Ramos, "I'm not going to pay for this f***ing wall."
Vincente Fox joined Sean on Wednesday's Hannity to press his case.
"Please wake up America from this Republican nightmare that is causing a lot of noise outside of the United States and I say it with clarity that is nothing personal but is really warring off outside of the United States," Fox began.
Sean pressed Fox on the continuing issue of criminal elements streaming over the U.S.-Mexico border. "Do you care about the American people? Do you care about Americans that are victims of crime? Do you care about drugs being brought into America?" Sean asked the former Mexican President.
When Sean said noted that illegal immigrants have been responsible for a significant amount of crime in the U.S., including 3,000 homicides and close to 8,000 sexual assaults between 2008 and 2014 in Texas alone, Fox simply denied the statistics.
"That's a lie," Fox said.
"We're never going to agree because I believe [the border patrol]. I was in the drug warehouses. I saw the underground tunnels. I watched criminal aliens arrested," Hannity responded.
