Former DNC boss Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ unsavory IT staffer may have had unfettered access to “all the communication of the foreign affairs committee” according to Rep. Steven King; a serious escalation of the mysterious case surrounding the technician who was arrested trying to flee the country earlier this week.
Rep. Steve King made the chilling announcement while speaking with Breitbart News on Wednesday, expressing fears that Imran Awan “would have had access to all the information that came through all those computers.”
“If the reports are right, if these three individuals…drew down, over this period of time, $4 million and Debbie Wasserman Schultz had a part-time employee who’s making $165,000 that she just fired yesterday afternoon?” King told Breitbart host Curt Schilling.
“They had access to the information on the multiple clients that they had, and that number is nearly a score, as I recall, they would have had access to all the information that came through all those computers in all those offices and access to…all the communications of the foreign affairs committee,” he added.
Imran Awan was arrested earlier this week at a Washington, DC airport after sending hundreds of thousands of dollars to his native Pakistan. Days earlier, the FBI and Capitol Hill police raided Awan’s home, retrieving multiple hard drives that had been intentionally destroyed.
