Pelosi's Iron Fist
The pressure on Democrats to pass some sort of health care reform bill has begun to reach the boiling point. Speaker Nancy Pelosi led her House Democrats in a health care pep rally today in Washington in an attempt to build a coalition of support for Obama Care and the dreaded “public option.” “Nancy Pelosi is a person who is just power hungry,” Sean explained jump starting the first hour of the show. “She literally tolerates no diversity of views and literally rules with an iron fist. She is seeking to massively expand her power base and the power of the federal government – at any cost.” Tevi Troy put it best writing in today’s National Review Online, “All told, the Pelosi approach is an impressive demonstration of coalition building . . . if you’re trying to build a coalition of opponents.” {National Review Article}
