Pelosi Losing Her Grip?
An article by Jonathan Allen appearing on today’s Politico.com describes how Nancy Pelosi is slowly losing her grip on the House. The article details how the House Speaker has experienced several challenges to her once powerful authority – “revolts from Democrats on the Ways and Means Committee, the Congressional Black Caucus, the Blue Dog Coalition and politically vulnerable first- and second-term members.” “People are finally seeing what I’ve been saying all along,” said Sean. “They’re seeing Obama and Pelosi as the radical leftists they are. Democrats are feeling the pressure now more than they ever have before.” Obama-mania is subsiding and Americans are slowly beginning to see the trail of Obama’s broken promises and extreme leftist ideologies. Senate Bans Drudge Report?
The Senate's environment committee has warned Capitol Hill staffers to avoid the Drudge Report over suspicions of computer viruses. The Drudge Report denied the allegations and even mocked the committee in a story. According to Drudge, the committee issued an urgent email late Monday claiming the Drudge Report is 'responsible for the many viruses popping up throughout the Senate.' The email ordered hill staff: 'Try to avoid' the Drudge Report 'for now'. Sean, who admitted the DrudgeReport.com is one of his favorite websites, added, “They just don’t want people looking at that awful picture of Pelosi or the headlines that are up there every day.”

The Architect’s New Book
Karl Rove, former Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to former President George W. Bush, joined Sean on the NewsMaker hotline to discuss his new book, “Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight.” Because of his success throughout his career, Rove has been attacked numerous times, accused of everything from campaign trickery to ideological divisiveness. In this memoir, Rove responds to his critics, articulates his political philosophy, and defends the choices he made on the campaign trail and in the White House. In the course of putting the record straight, Rove takes on Democratic leaders like Harry Reid and Tom Daschle who acted deviously behind closed doors, and even Republicans who lacked backbone at crucial moments. “Courage and Consequence” is a great read and can be purchased from Amazon.com by clicking here.
