Rob Thy Neighbor
Sean kicked off the show live from Grand Rapids with another inspiring stop on the Conservative Victory 2010 tour. “Do you know that half of America doesn’t pay Federal income tax at all,” an angry Sean reported from an article in the Associated Press that went to press yesterday, “talk about robbing thy neighbor.” “My appeal to you,” asked Sean,” everyone needs to unite in one common cause and that’s to defeat the radical liberals in Congress.” This is such a notion to think that half of America is getting something for nothing while the other half continue to be weighted down with excessive taxes. Only in America it seems.

Stuart Varney and Juan Williams: Pay What You Can
Sean was joined on the show by his favorite political talkers, Stuart Varney and Juan Williams, to discuss the latest controversy surrounding reports that nearly 50% of Americans don’t pay income tax. “As I read this article nearly 50% of Americans don’t pay income tax,” questioned Sean. Varney jumped on the opportunity arguing,” Why shouldn’t those who don’t pay any taxes demand higher taxes on those who do since they’ll get the benefits.” Hannity pressed Williams asking,” When the President said it’s patriotic to spread the wealth around is this what you had in mind.” Williams argued,” what we’re seeing here are people who’re falling behind and fewer are paying taxes.” Fewer! With nearly 50% of Americans not paying income taxes that’s more than a few. Perhaps everyone can pay what they can, or perhaps the government can stop spending so much mon ey on programs that aren’t needed.

Liz Cheney: America’s Not As Safe As It Could Be
Sean was joined on the NewsMaker hotline by Liz Cheney, the Chairwoman of Keep America Safe, to discuss the foreign policy of President Obama. “The President has said recently that even if the country is attacked by chemical or biological weapons we’re not going to respond,” asked Sean. “You can sum up this administration’s foreign policy in three prongs,” offered Cheney, “apologize for America, abandon our allies and appease our enemies.” So let’s get this straight. Americans can be attacked by chemical or biological weapons and we’re not going to respond? Doesn’t it seem almost as crazy as high taxes during a recession?
