Dem Turnout Falls Off A Cliff
According to the turnout among Dem voters dropped steeply in three statewide primaries yesterday. By contrast, GOP turnout was up almost across the board. “What’s worse,” said Sean, “is that Obama can’t campaign for any of these Democrats because nobody wants him.” Top Democratic strategists have promised to spend millions to get their voters to cast ballots, and polls show they will need to succeed in order to avoid an electoral beating. The latest weekly Gallup tracking survey shows 43% of GOPers are "very enthusiastic" about voting, while just 33% of Dems feel the same way. “You add on top of this the BP oil spill, the Times Square bombing and the economy still in shambles – and it looks like an uphill climb for Democrats in 2010,” Sean said.

No He’s Not Funnier Than Leno
The Obama-mania media has outdone themselves again – proclaiming Obama’s White House correspondence dinner speech as “funnier than Jay Leno’s.” “No he’s not funnier than Leno…Leno is infinitely funnier than Obama. It’s just that the people in the White House were so enthralled at the site of the ‘anointed one’ that they couldn’t stop laughing,” said Sean. “He didn’t even write his own jokes. He just read jokes from writers of the Daily Show off a teleprompter like he usually does.”

Laura Bush: “Spoken From The Heart”
Former first lady Laura Bush joined Sean in the show’s New York studios this afternoon to discuss her new book, “Spoken From The Heart” {Preview the book here}. Bush explained to Sean that in the book she describes what really happens inside the White House, from presidential finances, to the antics of some of the White House guests. She also details presidential life in the harrowing days and weeks after 9/11. The former first lady writes openly about the White House during wartime and of her role as the president’s wife. Laura Bush’s memoir is beautifully rendered and unlike any other first lady’s memoir ever written.
