Senator Russ Feingold in Trouble?
Sean kicked off the show letting us know that 38% of independents are now supporting President Obama. This coming on the heels of reports from Rasmussen that suggest the longtime Senator from Wisconsin, Russ Feingold, has found himself battling for his political life. According to the June report, Feingold leads his challenger, Ron Johnson, 46%-45% with 6% undecided. “We’ve got Run Feingold in trouble and we all know Harry Reid is in trouble,” suggested Sean, “things aren’t looking good.” Well, they're certainly not looking good for some of the legendary Democrat stalwarts like Reid and Feingold.

Erik Rush and DC Councilman Michael Brown: Racial Fear Impacting Voting?
Sean was joined by Erik Rush, author of the book Negrophilia, and DC Councilman Michael Brown to discuss the latest announcement that the Obama Administration has dropped the charges of voter intimidation against the New Black Panther Party. “This is a case that’s not good for this country,” argued Sean, “anyone in a white robe or paramilitary garb spewing racial epithets.” Brown jumped in offering, “I understand what they were doing trying to keep public polling places safe.” Rush disagreed saying, “I don’t believe public safety was on their mind, I think they were looking for a confrontation.” If you haven’t heard about this story, check out the original story from The Wall Street Journal.

Penny Nance, Cyrus Nowrasteh and Wafa Sultan: Iranian Woman To Be Stoned To Death!
Sean was joined by Penny Nance, Cyrus Nowrasteh and Wafa Sultan to discuss the latest sentence of an Iranian woman, Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, who was convicted of committing adultery. Reports are that she’s been sentenced to death by stoning because of her conviction. “Millions of women are crying out on her behalf,” pleaded Nance, “and the State Department has been completely silent on this issue.” Sean interrupted saying, “Iran has just been elected to a four year term on the UN Council on Women and yet they’re about to stone this woman to death!” Wafa Sultan and Cyrus Nowrasteh brought some heartbreaking stories about abuse toward women that happen often in Muslim nations.
