The Obama Wimp Factor
A fired up Sean Hannity took the national airwaves this afternoon and spoke first about Sarah Palin’s comments on Obama over the weekend. Palin said Sunday that President Obama doesn't have the "cojones" to secure the nation's borders and fix its immigration system. She defended Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer's decision to fight the federal government in court over Arizona's new, controversial immigration law. “You want to know why people like Palin?” Sean asked rhetorically. “It’s because she’s real. Lots of people think this stuff but don’t say it. One issue that is going to rise up for Obama is the ‘Wimp Factor.’ I am going to predict by the time that 2012 rolls around that he is going to be viewed as pathetically weak in reality.” Voters who may have thought Obama was engaging, novel or enlightened, may end up thinking he’s really just a wimp.

Drug Cartel Puts $1M Bounty On Sheriff Arpaio’s Head
Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been at the center of the controversies surrounding illegal immigration enforcement in Arizona for quite some time, but this time he’s in the news for something quite different. Sean spoke with the sheriff in the show’s second hour to discuss the news that a Mexican drug cartel has allegedly placed a one million dollar bounty for his head. The audio message in Spanish is a bit garbled, but the text is clear. "It's offering a million dollars for Sheriff Joe Arpaio's head and offering a thousand dollars for anyone who wants to join the Mexican cartel." Arpaio, joining Sean by phone, didn’t seem too phased by the news. “You know at one point during my career there was a death threat for $5 million. It seems the price has gone down,” Arpaio said jokingly. The Arizona sheriff has devoted his life to fighting illegal immigration and he doesn’t plan on stopping now. “I’m just doing my job, and I plan on keep doing it. This new law doesn’t change anything,” Arpaio said {Article}.

Gov. Ed Rendell On Obama’s ‘View’
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell joined Sean for the final hour of the show to discuss Obama’s appearance on ABC’s “The View.” Rendell knocked the ABC program, comparing it to Jerry Springer’s show and criticized Obama for appearing on ‘softball’ programs. "I think the president should be accessible . . . answer questions that aren't pre-screened . . . but I think there's gotta be a little dignity to the presidency," Rendell said. "I wouldn't put him on 'Jerry Springer' either, right?"
