What Happened To “Recovery Summer?”
“Tax-cheat” Tim Geithner admitted today that it is still a “tough economy” for most Americans, and cautioned that it’s possible the unemployment rate will go UP for a couple of months before it comes down as more people enter the work force. "When they see a little hope that there may be jobs out there, they start to come back in again. And that can cause the measured unemployment rate to go up — temporarily," Geithner told "Good Morning America's" George Stephanopoulos { Watch Video Here}. “Do you realize this has been their argument all along?” Sean steamed. “They’ve claimed this is ‘recovery summer’. And oh, by the way, it’s all George Bush’s fault right?” In fact, a survey of most economists shows the economy will remain bleak mainly because of Obama’s failing policies. “It’s like [the movie] The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight – except they can’t even get their stories straight!” said Sean.

Stop The Mosque Now
The Landmarks Preservation Commission of New York City this morning voted down a proposal that would give a lower Manhattan building historic status -- paving the way for a controversial new mosque to open just blocks from Ground Zero. The 9-0 vote opens the door for the demolition of the 152-year-old building on Park Place, where construction is planned for the mosque. Sean implored NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and other politicians to put the brakes on this plan. Why not investigate the backgrounds of those people interested in building the mosque and where they got the money from? “Why aren’t they investigating the Imam behind this like we did on ‘Hannity’ two months ago?” Sean asked. “I haven’t even seen a single survey on where Americans stand on this issue let alone New Yorkers.” Sean asked his audience to visit and sign a petition to stop the mosque at Ground Zero.

Arizona Sheriff: ‘Our Own Government Has Become Our Enemy’
Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu set off a firestorm of controversy when he told that rather than help law enforcement in Arizona stop the hundreds of thousands of people who come into the United States illegally, the federal government is targeting the state and its law enforcement personnel. Babeu joined Sean on the NewsMaker Hotline to discuss the immigration issue. The sheriff told Sean that “[the federal government] doesn’t want to achieve border security… and they’re siding with the ACLU. What I can tell you is that the president has looked at this purely from a political concern rather than a public safety concern,” Babeu told Sean.
