Tax Hikes: The Wrong Way To Generate $ For the Gov’t
Sean kicked off this special Election Day Tuesday discussing House Minority Leader John Boehner’s endorsement of a GOP-proposed extension of the Bush tax cuts {Read Boehner’s endorsement letter here}. Many Democratic leaders, led by Obama, favor letting tax rates rise next year for households earning more than $250,000 and individuals earning more than $200,000. “This is what drives me crazy,” Sean fumed, “there is this belief system that the only way you’re going to generate revenue to the Federal Government is by raising taxes. One percent of tax payers in this country pay forty percent of the bill! This is not the answer. The answer is a vibrant, growing economy!"

Tea Party Battles GOP Establishment In Primaries
In the last primaries before the November elections, seven states and the nation’s capital will feature numerous establishment vs. outsider candidate battles. The outcome of these skirmishes may foreshadow the strength of the Tea Party movement as November creeps closer. Some polls show that some contested primaries will be bigger races than the November ones. Sean highlighted several key battles to keep an eye on tonight. In Massachusetts, Rep. Steven Lynch squares off against Mac D’Alessandro. In Washington, D.C., Mayor Adrian Fenty is being challenged by several candidates, with D.C. Council chairman Vincent Gray offering the toughest fight. Make sure to tune into Hannity on FoxNews tonight for complete coverage and check tomorrow for a complete recap.

Mad As Hell
Pollsters Scott Rasmussen and Doug Schoen joined Sean to discuss tonight’s primary battles as well as to talk about their new book, “Mad As Hell.” Rasmussen and Schoen describe how many of the riotous tea parties and angry town hall meetings took many people by surprise. They shouldn’t have: populist movements have always arisen in times of economic hardship and uncertainty. The two well respected pollsters use their extensive and original research to examine the heart of the populist uprising that has thrown American politics into turmoil.
