Sean’s Frustrations With Some Conservatives
Sean opened today’s show by discussing his growing frustration with some conservatives who are lashing out like liberals, condemning voters for their picks at the primaries. “This is happening all over the place. You see Charlie Crist – a big cry baby, says he’s leaving the party because he couldn’t beat Marco Rubio on substance. Same thing with Joe Miller. Miller won a free and fair election. Lisa Murkowski is now mounting a write-in campaign in the wake of her defeat to Joe Miller! Mike Castle still has not endorsed Christine O’Donnell. This is what liberals do – having contempt for ‘We The People,’ not conservatives. Condemning the will of the people, condemning the electoral system. Voters have spoken and they’ve thrown out RHINO Republican’s, who in some cases have served for four decades. They’ve voted for a fresh, exciting, solid, conservative,” Sean said adamantly.

Erick Erickson, RedState.com and author of Red State Uprising
Blogger and editor of RedState.com, Erick Erickson, joined Sean to talk about his brand new book, “Red State Uprising.” In Erick’s exciting book he reveals why your Republican candidate may not be a real conservative – and how you can tell the difference. The blogger explained to Sean how he’s written an essential how–to guide for cleaning up the GOP, slashing government, reclaiming lost ground, and getting America back on course. “There is a ‘right size’ for government,” Erikson argues, “but it is much smaller, much cheaper, and much less intrusive than what we’ve got now.” To read more about Red State Uprising please click here.

Obama Heads To Church To Dismiss “Muslim Myth”
Sean mentioned an article appearing in the New York Daily News {Article} which discusses the Obama family’s recent church attendance. The First Family went to St. John’s Episcopal Church near Layfayette Square Park in Washington, D.C. this past weekend. The last time the Obamas went to church was on Easter Sunday, April 4th. They sat a few rows back from the altar among 40 worshipers. Many Americans (18% according to a recent Pew poll) wrongly believe Obama is a Muslim. His low-profile Christianity might also be playing into this “Muslim myth” many writers and bloggers have suggested.
