Matthews: “Private Business Out to Screw Obama”
Mr. “Thrill Up My Leg” Chris Matthews is at it again. Matthews, the MSNBC host and Obama-fan club leader, has concocted the perfect conspiracy theory to explain the current economic downturn. “You think business can sit on those billions and trillions of dollars for two more years after they screw Obama this time? Are they going to keep sitting on their money so they don't invest and help the economy for two long years to get Mr. Excitement Mitt Romney elected president? Will they do that to the country?" Matthews pondered on his unwatchable show. “Chris, you need to help yourself here, you need therapy for this in a major way, because this is out of control,” Sean said jokingly. “No its not Bush’s fault, it’s not Palins’ fault, it’s not business’ fault, it’s not talk radio’s fault. It’s the Anointed One’s fault. Chris, you fell in love and were blinded by [Obama] and you just can’t see the truth – that Barack Obama has made an absolute mess of the economy!” said Sean.
Meet The Candidate: Sean Bielat
Sean welcomed Republican candidate Sean Bielat to the program to discuss his race against U.S. Rep. Barney Frank. Bielat explained to Sean that the political landscape in Massachusetts has changed over the years. “There are a lot more conservatives here than people would think,” said Bielat. “There are a lot of Independents – in fact, the state is half Independent. People are ready for something new, they’ve had Barney Frank around for thirty years and they’re starting to think things through a little bit.” Frank has lashed out against the media, Rush and Sean in recent weeks over his sinking poll numbers. Bielat told Sean that Frank is in trouble, and he knows it. “Frank brought Bill Clinton in to help shore up some of his poll numbers but it’s not going to work. He’s in trouble and people here know it,” said Bielat.
Michael W. Smith
Singer, songwriter and actor Michael W. Smith joined Sean in the show’s third hour to talk about his new album, “Wonder.” Smith performed some of his new material in front of the massive crowds at this year’s Hannity Freedom Concert. You can listen to a sample of Smith’s latest album here. Sean admitted that Smith’s latest album was his current favorite CD. Michael W. Smith’s latest single is “Welcome Home,” a song that Smith hopes offers hope and encouragement to those struggling with the loss of a loved one. “When I introduced those families at the Freedom Concerts who had lost loved ones in Afghanistan and Iraq a lot of my dedication with this song was to those families. It was very emotional to say the least that’s for sure,” Smith told Sean.
