Pentagon Budget Being Cut
Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced this morning that the Pentagon will cut $78 billion in 2011. “What did I predict would be one area that liberals would cut,” an angry Sean commented, “I’m not saying there isn’t waste in the military but this seems to always be the first issue to cut.” It’s hard to criticize Washington for cutting spending but the safety of our men and women defending freedom around the world is probably not the first place we should start.

Jay Sekulow and Tamara Holder
Sean was joined by Jay Sekulow and Tamera Holder to discuss the “controversial” decision of Congressional Republicans to read the Constitution on the floor of the house today. “What’s wrong with reading the Constitution,” questioned Hannity, “What’s wrong with any lawmaker showing the Constitutional applicability to any law that they propose?” “Let’s look at the point of this,” challenged Holder, “Everyone was reading their Blackberry’s and there are estimates that this cost $1.1 Million for the two hour reading.” A charged Sekulow explained, “I wish they did this at the beginning of every time we have a new Congress because it reminds the American people the basis on which our Republic operates.” Every citizen of this country should have a working knowledge of our Constitution but our leaders in Congress have taken an oath to uphold it, the least they could do i s know what it is they’re upholding.

Dick Morris: Obama Care Can Be Stopped
Former White House insider Dick Morris joined Sean to discuss the ways Obama Care can be stopped. “I don’t think we can actually repeal it,” explained Morris, “I think we can stop its funding.” Morris explained, “Republicans will then need to attach spending restrictions to the different elements of Obama Care.” It should be interesting to see what happens to Obama Care in 2011.
