The New Civility?
Just one week ago today, President Obama gave a moving speech in which he called for “a new era of civility in American political discourse.” And, as Sean predicted earlier this week, Barack’s new “political discourse” was short lived. Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) spoke before the House floor last night and referred to Republican efforts to repeal health care reform as a Nazi-like endeavor. "The Germans said enough about the Jews and the people believed it and you had the Holocaust. You tell a lie over and over again. And we've heard on this floor, government takeover of health care,” Cohen ranted. “I thought we weren’t supposed to be using violent rhetoric anymore?” Sean asked incredulously. Watch Rep. Steve Cohen’s speech here.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger
Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and now Dr. Laura Schlessinger? Dr. Laura discusses how she too is an example of how the left has misconstrued and attacked comments of a Conservative woman. America's #1 female talk show radio host now is on SIRIUS XM where just like Palin she will not be forced to 'shut up.' A self-professed "bad ass girlie girl" and Harley rider, Dr. Laura has just released her latest book Surviving a Shark Attack (on Land) in which she details thirty-plus years of experience not only talking radio callers through their betrayals but also her own. A force to be reckoned with, she admits she wishes the man who betrayed her were still alive to see that he failed in knocking her down. Sporting a brand new attitude, new radio station and a new tattoo, one never knows what will happen when Dr. Laura and Sean get together (or how many times he will blush). Is Pence Running For President?
Will Mike Pence run for President? That’s the question on a lot of people’s minds and the first question Sean asked Pence who called into the second hour of the show. “I’ve been spending the last couple of months with my family, seeking counsel and spending time in prayer reflecting on where we think we can make the most difference for the conservative values that brought us into public service more than ten years ago.” Pence stressed that whatever decision he made regarding a possible run for the presidency would be one he would make with his family. “I put my family first. Secondly, we’re going to try to apply a servant’s attitude to it. I believe in servant leadership and a servant always asks the question ‘where am I needed most?’” When could we expect a decision from Pence? “Karen [Pence’s wife] and I believe we need to come to some decision about our general direction before the end of this month and I’m confident we’ll meet that time-line,” Pence told Sean.
