Government Shutdown Week
It’s Government Shutdown Week but Sean’s fairly certain a deal will be made. “58% of Americans favor a government shutdown until spending cuts is agreed upon,” noted Hannity, “According to the latest Rasmussen Report only 33% of likely voters would rather have Congress avoid a government shutdown by authorizing additional spending.” Hannity continued his analysis saying, “The GOP shouldn’t fear a government shutdown because they’re going to be applauded for standing up for a balanced budget.” The Congressional Budget Office came out last week noting that the jobs created by the Obama Administration have cost roughly $228,000 per job. “Most government would stay open during a shutdown,” explained Hannity, “The deal that is emerging will avert a shutdown by extending the government two more weeks.” For the latest on the budget negotiations, check out Hannity.com.

What’s Going On In Wisconsin?
Sean was joined by Maine State Representative Diane Russell, the state legislator who’s making headlines by leaving Maine to join the protestors in Wisconsin. Kate Obenshain, the Vice President of the Young America’s Foundation, joined in the debate to discuss union battle that’s being waged in The Badger State. “This is a matter of realizing that Wisconsin is broke and all this screaming and running away from their responsibilities and it’s high time that the voters realize that, for fifty years, the unions have been determining their own benefits and as a consequence the tax payers have been getting a bum deal.” Russell countered, “The unions have agreed to all the budget concessions and they want to have a seat at the table.” An angry Hannity fought back, “What you’re missing Diane, this foundation where unions take union member money and donates to democrats to get sweetheart deals that taxpaye rs have to pay for and kicking the can down the road isn’t working anymore.” That, in the end, is the real issue that nearly every state is facing. States like California, New York, Wisconsin and others are collapsing under the weight of their own size and politicians have turned the other way for many years because they’ve been carried to re-election on the backs of the very labor unions they now can’t pay for.

Revolt!
Sean was joined by Dick Morris, author of the great new book; “ Revolt!” whose new book talks about how we can fix the damage that’s been done over the past three years. “This book includes you Mr. Hannity, I described you as a compass and Sean Hannity always points to Conservative which permits you to orient yourself,” praised Morris. “You said, in case there’s any doubt about it, we plan on sending Obama back to Illinois for good,” noted Hannity, “and then you go through how to do all this.” Morris agreed, “This is literally a how-to, a blue print, describing just what to do.” If you believe the country is not out of the water yet, you should arm yourself with this roadmap to victory!
