Exclusive Bristol Palin Interview!

Michele Bachmann’s Campaign
The Obama White House lashed out against Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s bid for the presidency saying she would, “erode the path to prosperity for middle class families.” An angry Hannity shared his thoughts Monday saying, “They’re standing in the middle of their own economic wreckage, about to drive over a cliff, and their mantra is that we’d better not change course.” The 2012 Presidential election will be very much a question of whether we think the country is on the right course or the wrong one and nearly every poll imaginable has us on the wrong one. It’s not clear if the Obama administration gets that but there are a dozen or so candidates who do. For more on this story, click here for coverage from ABC News.

Same Sex Marriage: Why Not A Vote?
Sean was joined by Tom McClusky and Sally Kohn to discuss the latest state, New York, to allow same sex marriages. “I’m a libertarian on this issue,” Sean said earlier, “But I don’t see why this couldn’t have gone to a vote in New York so the people could decide for themselves.” McClusky suggested, “In 31 states, including states that you would think would just write it off like Maine and California, they’ve all agreed that marriage is between a man and a woman and that’s something New Yorkers won’t be able to vote on.” Kohn offered her thoughts saying, “We need to separate the moral issue from the practical issue and, though we should talk about both, there are a millions of families in this country who are denied the same rights and benefits that other loving families enjoy like visiting a loved one in the hospital or filing taxes together. It’s hard to believe this philosophical debate will end any time soon as more states look to follow in New York’s footsteps.

Bristol Palin
Sean was joined by Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin who’s the author of the new book, “Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far.” “I read your life and you’re a young person but you’ve been through a lot,” a sympathetic Hannity shared, “A lot of this is under the microscope of a liberal media that doesn’t like your mom very much.” A wise-beyond-her-years Palin responded, “It’s challenging at times but it’s also rewarding because my mom and I have some opportunities that we’re very passionate about.” For more information on Bristol Palin’s new book, click here.
