The most predictable economic crisis in history
Sean: “Economic Crisis Most Predictable In History”
Sean took the Tuesday airwaves and discussed the ongoing market and economic volatility. “This is the most predictable economic crisis that we have ever had in our history. If you doubt it look what is happening in London. London serves as a great warning to us,” Sean cautioned. “If we continue to follow this ‘nanny, caretaker, womb-to-the-tomb’ socialist society path – this is what our future is if you can’t afford to pay for it all. This is what’s coming to the country.” The president has taken no responsibility for the economic turmoil. “All of this is [Obama],” said Sean. “It is his background, it is his associations, it is his lack of experience – it’s everything and worse that I thought he would be.” Listen to Sean’s entire opening monologue by clicking here.
Another Stimulus?
Patrick Buchanan joined Sean on the NewsMaker Hotline to discuss the possibility of another wasteful stimulus package by the White House. According to Bloomberg news { Article} Chairman Ben Bernanke and his colleagues are weighing the use of more untested policy tools after two rounds of bond buying totaling $2.3 trillion failed to spur economic growth and reduce unemployment below 9 percent. “This is amazing,” a dismayed Buchanan told Sean. “Where are we going to borrow the money? And if we borrow it abroad, which is what we’re doing, will that not increase the very debt that has been the very reason we were downgraded?” Buchanan added.
What Does Newsweek Have Against Conservative Women?
The conservative blogosphere is in an uproar over the latest Newsweek cover. They claim the magazine deliberately picked a wide-eyed photo of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann to make her look, quote, "crazy" and titled the cover, quote, "The Queen of Rage." The National Organization for Women agrees. Its president told the Daily Caller the cover is, quote, "sexist." This isn't the first time Newsweek has had a questionable cover. Back in 2009, Newsweek put out this cover of Sarah Palin with the title, "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Sarah?" Are these just unflattering photos or is Newsweek sending their readers a message? Fox News contributor, Monica Crowley, weighed in on the controversy on last night’s ‘Hannity.’ “The reason is because these strong conservative women represent an existential threat to liberalism. That is that they are pro-life, pro-gun, fiscal conservatives who actually lead their lives according to those values. They don't just talk a good line. They a ctually live what they believe. And therefore, they must have be destroyed because if somebody like Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann were to gain real traction with a broader American electorate then that gender gap that the Democrats have relied on for decades, disappears like that.” You can watch all of the Newsweek discussion from ‘Hannity’ by clicking here.
