Crushing jobs report
Rose Tennet
Sean took a well deserved vacation today so talk show host Rose Tennet ably took his place behind the microphone. Hitting the ground running, Rose vented about the decision not to have prayer at the upcoming 9/11 Memorial Services scheduled in New York City. "Last night I got a text from my teenage son s friend saying, 'Mrs. Tennet, do you realize there won t be prayer at the 9/11 memorial service?'" "I was really happy to hear a young person concerned about something like that," praised Tennet, "At the same time I was kind of sad to consider that there might be a whole new generation of teenagers who won't know to expect prayer at an event like that." Another Job Report Slams Down
The Department of Labor released another jobs report and this one was bad. The report showed unemployment rates stuck at 9.1% which happens to be the weakest job report since 2010. "I grew up in a family of small businesses and I know how hard it is to make it," Rose shared with callers today, "The regulations and taxes make it so hard and it would be wise for President Obama to seek the counsel of some small business owners." Supporting small business should be the number one priority of Washington but it seems more spending has filled that space. To read more about the jobs report, click Hannity.com.
2012 Update
Rose spent some time closing out Friday's show with a quick update on the 2012 Presidential Election. Speaking specifically about the upcoming debate which is in conflict with President Obama's latest address to the nation, Rose angrily said," President Obama knows that he is running neck and neck with Governor Perry and that's why he did this." It's a shame that politics is playing such a strong role within Washington but, after all we've seen this year, it's really to be expected.
