Dems continue to distance themselves from Obama

Dems Distance Themselves From Obama
Sean kicked off Monday's show by mentioning several articles which describe how Obama's plummeting approval rating is hurting Democrats' chances in the House special elections. One article, written by Cameron Joseph in today's TheHill.com, details how some prominent local Democrats have endorsed Republican Bob Turner because of Obama’s handling of Israel, while Democrat David Weprin has sought distance from the president. In a GOP-leaning Nevada district left vacant when Dean Heller was appointed to the Senate, Republicans are using Obama as a cudgel against Democratic candidate Kate Marshall, featuring him in all of their ads while mostly ignoring her. Election Upset In NY?
Democrats are preparing themselves for an upset in a special election tomorrow in what Sean says foreshadows the trouble Obama will face in next year's presidential election. Recent polls show Republican Bob Turner, a retired media executive, beating Democrat David Weprin, a state assemblyman, ahead of the U.S. House of Representatives election by six points. The liberal stronghold has gone Democrat in every election since the 1920s, and Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1. Sean was joined by Bob Turner and they discussed his chances heading into tomorrow's election. You can listen to the entire interview for free by clicking right here.
