Amanda Knox Murder Conviction Overturned
An appeals jury on Monday overturned the murder convictions of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito in the killing of her roommate four years ago. Both were expected to be freed after being returned to prison to collect their belongings. Earlier today, a tearful Knox told the jury that she did not kill her British roommate, pleading for the court to free her so she can return to the United States. “This has been a circus from the very beginning,” Sean said commenting on the verdict. “It appeared all the evidence was trumped up against her. None of it has been proven to be accurate, if anything it seems be ginned up by a prosecutor that has a history of abuse in the system. My take on this was that she was wrongly convicted and deserves to be released," Sean added. For the latest on the Amanda Knox murder story, please click here.

This Is Herman Cain
Presidential hopeful Herman Cain joined Sean on the NewsMaker Hotline to discuss his new book, which Hannity Newsletter subscribers can pre-order right here. In his book, “This Is Herman Cain,” Cain describes how, as CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, he transformed the company from one teetering on the verge of bankruptcy into a household word. Cain—as those with an interest in commonsense solutions to political problems will remember—is also famous for using the language and logic of everyday business to expose the fallacies inherent in Clinton assumptions about “Hillarycare” during a 1994 televised town hall meeting. Cain’s rise is the embodiment of the American dream. In this highly recommended memoir, Herman Cain describes his past and present . . . and the future he is determined to create, a future that will put our country back on track. His message resonates because he describes the American reality, and his down-to-earth personal tale of hope and hard work is both unforgettable and inspirational. “This Is Herman Cain” has been added to the Hannity Book Club for the month of October. Bachmann: Path To A Pro-Growth Economy 'Pretty Simple'
"The Anointed One" is frantically trying to explain his complete and utter failure to turn around the American economy as the Dow today dropped close to 200 points. But according to the president, the problem lies with you, the American people, not with any of his policy proposals. Obama is starting to sound more and more like Jimmy Carter who also blamed the American people for his political failures. Michele Bachmann, who joined Sean on ‘Hannity,’ agreed. “He’s the master of negativism,” the GOP hopeful told Sean. Bachmann explained that it’s pretty simple to get the country’s economy back on the right track. “In order to get more competition back into our economy and to get a pro-growth economy, this is actually pretty simple question to solve. We have to repeal Obamacare, a study came just out from UBS last week that said, that's the number one reason why employers aren't hiring. The other thing we need to do is clean up the financial services sector because Dodd-Fr ank does to the financial services sector what Obamacare does to health care, in other words, it destroys competition,” Bachmann explained.
