Jesus Wants Tax Hikes On The Rich?
President "The Anointed One" Obama said at a the National Prayer Breakfast that his proposal to hike taxes on wealthy Americans is in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ. "I think to myself, if I'm willing to give something up as somebody who's been extraordinarily blessed and give up some of the tax breaks that I enjoy, I actually thinks that's going to make economic sense. But for me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus teaching that, 'for unto whom much is given, much shall be required,'" Obama said. Sean was stunned. "He just told an audience that no one less than Jesus Christ himself wants to raise taxes on the rich...that's what he's suggesting here. How much is required? Half of your income? Everything? Is that what Jesus wanted? I guess we're getting a lesson in theology here. His thinking is all rooted in Marxism...in the redistribution of wealth," said Sean. "You know the Bible also says 'the sweat of thy brow shall I earn thy bread.' H ow many times have I said on this program that liberals are only generous with other peoples' money? How many times?" Sean asked rhetorically.
Master Sergeant Mark Evans joined Sean in the show's last hour to discuss a non-profit organization he helped start to provide pizzas to our men and women in uniform. Dubbed "Operation Not Forgotten" Pizzas4Patriots together with UNO's plan to dish out 10,000 pizzas to U.S. service men and women in Afghanistan on America's largest pizza eating day of the year - Super Bowl Sunday. "With the passing of time, some Americans have shifted their attention from the conflicts thousands of miles away, but our troops are still there and we never, ever want to forget them," said Frank Guidara, CEO of UNO's and veteran. "UNO can show its appreciation by sending them a taste from home, namely a deep-dish pizza. And we know it means a great deal to the troops - especially those that are in forward positions without the comforts of home available to them." Romney: Obama's Presidency Has Been A Failure
Presidential candidate Mitt Romney joined Sean on 'Hannity' and discussed his recent endorsement by Donald Trump and his view of the Obama presidency. Romney focused on Obama's inability to resurrect the sagging U.S. economy and his poor attempt to reform the health care system. “He has been a failure. There's no question about that. We've seen record numbers of people fall into poverty. You have 25 million people out of work or underemployed. You have, median incomes have dropped by 10 percent in the last four years," Romney explained. The former governor of Massachusetts also explained that, if selected as the GOP nominee, he would attack Obama on his poor performance. "His record is the most fertile ground for us to point out why we need to change the direction in Washington," Romney explained.
