Tennent: Don't Be Discouraged By SCOTUS Ruling
Special guest host Rose Tennent took the coveted Hannity microphone - filling in for a vacationing Sean. Tennent, co-host of a nationally syndicated radio show called "Quinn and Rose," offered words of encouragement to the Hannity faithful about the recent SCOTUS ruling on ObamaCare. "Benjamin Franklin said, 'Freedom is not a gift bestowed upon us by other men, but a right that belongs to us by the laws of God and the laws of nature'. So I'm asking you," Tennent implored Sean's listeners, "do not be discouraged by the Supreme Court ruling. The ObamaCare decision has lit a fire under so many of us. We have a Republic - at times it may seem as if it is hanging by a thread – but we have a Republic still. Can we keep it? This is our battle, and much like our founding fathers fought for what they believed in, we need to do the same," Tennent concluded. Dr. Dobson Vows He Will Not 'Bow Before' Obama's Abortion Mandate
Tennent welcomed Dr. James Dobson to the program to discuss a controversial aspect of Obama's new healthcare plan that uses federal dollars to fund abortion services. Obama has denied such a provision exists in his new healthcare initiative, but Dr. Dobson explained that he has identified n abortion surcharge hidden deep within ObamaCare. "The amount of the surcharge is irrelevant," Dr. Dobson states, "I will do all I can to correct a government that lies to me about its intentions and then tries to coerce my acquiescence with extortion." The new ruling compelled millions of Americans to pay the minimum $12/per annum surcharge for abortions, regardless of whether or not they receive or even want abortions. "I believe in the rule of law," states Dr. Dobson, "and it has been my practice since I was in college to respect and honor those in authority over us. It is my desire to do so now. Suzanne Somers Talks Health, Aging
Before Sean left for his short July 4th vacation, he sat down with actress Suzanne Somers. For years, Somers has been a pioneer when it comes to alternative medical treatments. Now she is teaming up with a group of scientists, doctors, and medical professionals to address the way we approach aging. Somers is a huge proponent of hormone supplementation and proper nutrition to address ailments due to age as opposed to running to a doctor to have him or her prescribe medication. "If you're getting like our old cat, your sleeping all the time. Why don't you go get your hormones checked?" Somers asked rhetorically to Sean's audience. "You know when a vase of tulips runs out of water -- well, that's a bad thing - when you put water in the tulips, it comes back," Somers added, explaining that water in her tulip example would be the equivalent of receiving hormones for aging adults.
