What Happened To Obama's Promise To Ease Hostility In Muslim World?

What Happened To Obama's Promise To Ease Hostility In Muslim World?
Sean, kicking of Friday's show, mentioned a story published today on Breitbart.com which links to audio from then-Senator Obama saying "he is uniquely qualified to bring stability to America's relationships in the Muslim world." "Don't you feel safer today?" Sean asked rhetorically. "I just saw the bodies of our ambassador and Navy SEALs being brought back to this country - I don't think they felt safer." Sean also commented on statements {Article} from the White House by press secretary Jay Carney in which he said the "violent protests throughout the Middle East are not directed at the United States or U.S. policy but are a response to a YouTube video." "So everything you saw in Cairo - our embassy being breached, our walls being jumped on, our flag being ripped down and burned, the al-Qaeda flag being raised - this is not directed at the United States? Really?" Sean asked incredulously. "The world is burning and the White House is spinning. These were attacks that WERE directed at the United States of America. This is a president that does not, has not, will not, refuses to get it," Sean said angrily.

Davis And Sekulow Discuss Middle East Chaos
Lanny Davis and attorney Jay Sekulow joined the show and discussed the numerous attacks that have occurred throughout the Middle East. Jay told Sean that there is simply no tolerance by the Muslim Brotherhood. Sekulow was also curious as to why we are apologizing for a film supposedly created by an Israeli American who lives in Southern California. To this day no one has seen this film and Jay felt that this is purely a cover up of an extension of the 9-11 attacks. Lanny interjected and added that whoever released the statement on how this film could affect our diplomatic relations should be fired. However, Lanny agreed with the President's position on the relationship our nation has taken with Egypt - that we are not sure if Egypt is an ally or an enemy. Jay disagreed and clearly stated that the Egyptian government is our foe with no exceptions. You can listen to the entire debate by clicking here.

Palin: 'Obama Administration Dropped The Ball' In The Middle East
Last night Sean put the Obama administration and their reaction in the Mideast under scrutiny on 'Hannity'. This is the same administration that coined the term overseas contingency operation, and they were referring to man-caused disasters when talking about acts of terror. The Obama administration appears to be buying into a narrative that the trailer for a low-budget anti-Muslim film is actually responsible for the chaos in the streets in the Middle East, hence their apology yesterday. Sean invited the FoxNews contributor Sarah Palin to the program to discuss the chaos in the Middle East. "Sean. We have to ask ourselves, and I sure wish that reporters would ask our president, how much longer can we afford to spill our blood and treasure, trying to quote/unquote, "promote democracy" in places that do not have any values for a civilized society, values like respecting minorities and women's rights and independent judiciary and rule of law? How much longer do we now support and fund Sharia democracy?" To watch Sean's interview with Palin please click here.
