President Trump’s re-election campaign launched a heartwarming new video this week, outlining the President’s new apprenticeship program that’s putting Americans back to work in high-paying jobs throughout the country.
The touching video, titled “Promises Made, Promises Kept,” features workers at an American medal manufacturer, where apprenticeships and vocational training are helping people “Make America Great Again.”
“I’ll be signing an executive order to expand apprenticeships and vocational training to help all Americans find a rewarding career, earn a great living, and support themselves and their families and love going to work in the morning,” says the President. “Not only will our apprentices transform their lives, but they will also transform our lives in the truest sense.”
“This apprenticeship is going to change my life. It’s going to allow me to advance […] which in part is going to help me make American great again,” said one worker. “Not everyone sits at a desk, we need trades. That’s what makes this country great. Look at the past, it’s people being plumbers, being pressmen. I know what I’m going to be doing for the rest of my career. I’ll be able to advance here […] make more money, accomplish things that I’d really like to accomplish, and I can’t do that without an apprenticeship.”
“It’s such a great sense of pride every day, coming to work knowing what we’re doing. A great sense of pride knowing that our work is 100% made in America […] It’s just amazing, it’s kind of like living the dream,” said another worker.
“Thank you so much President Trump, every day for what you do for our country, I appreciate it,” she added.
