WATCH: CNN Panel Has Total MELTDOWN Over Trump's DACA Decision

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.06.17

A high-profile CNN panel had a total meltdown on Tuesday night over President Trump’s decision to phase-out Barack Obama’s DACA program over the next sixth months, calling the President racist and saying, “If you’re not white, you’re not especially welcome” in the White House.

CNN anchor Don Lemon was interviewing guests over the President’s recent decision to end Obama’s illegal and unconstitutional immigration policy when the panel went off the rails.

“What do you think of this?” Lemon asked panelist and contributor David Gergen.

“This is one of the most cruel acts we’ve seen in the Presidency in a long time,” said Gergen. “It goes to very basic things. Whether you have respect for minorities, whether you have a belief in diversity, whether you think this country should welcome and continue to hold up the Statue of Liberty as a symbol of what we believe in.”

“I don’t know what it’s like to be a minority person in this country, and I often wonder about it, but I must say […] I would feel increasingly there’s a sign out there that’s been hung up in the White House, or outside the White House, saying ‘If you’re not white, you’re not especially welcome.’ That is so sad,” he added.

“The vast majority of the American people and the people I speak to are appalled by the actions that have happened recently,” said Lemon. “What does this say to Americans of color? It says, ‘You’re not wanted.'”

“It’s so obvious, it’s not even a dog-whistle anymore. It’s just flat-out bias, flat-out discrimination that they’re touting coming from this White House,” added the CNN host.
