Music star and possible 2018 Senate contender Kid Rock gave a fiery political speech at a concert in Detroit on Tuesday night, slamming white supremacists and saying he loves all colors of people, but none as much as “the red, white, and blue.”
Rock made his incendiary address before a packed arena in Michigan, where the singer has been weighing whether to enter the crowded GOP race to unseat Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow.
“I do believe it to be self-evident, that while we’re all created equal, I said it once and I’ll scream it again: I love black people. And I love white people too, but neither as much as I love read, white, and blue,” Rock rhymed.
“And if Kid Rock for Senate has got some folks in disarray, wait until they hear Kid Rock for President of the USA!” he screamed.
Kid Rock publicly teased his entrance into the Senate race in July, when the singer posted a “Kid Rock ’18” image on social media. Lawmakers and the mainstream media called-out Kid Rock for using the race as a publicity stunt; an allegation he categorically denies.
“I’ll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bulls***!” wrote Kid Rock earlier this year.
