SPINELESS: Pelosi Caves to 'Dreamers' Demands, Says Protecting Parents Next

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.10.17

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi caved to a group of ‘Dreamer’ protesters who hijacked her immigration event earlier this week, telling reporters she “respects their concerns” and that their parents “did a great thing for our country” by breaking the law and illegally entering the United States.

The former Speaker of the House was speaking with journalists about the renewed GOP healthcare push when she was asked about the DACA demonstrators, many of whom called Pelosi “a liar” for dealing directly with President Trump on the issue.

“So the DREAM Act has been a priority, we think it’s a good first step, it is a priority,” Pelosi told reporters. “Some people are saying that if you pass that then what about comprehensive immigration reform.”

“Protecting their families is of course the logical next step,” she added. “Their families did a great thing for our country bringing these kids here who are working, who are in the military, who are in school, who are a brilliant part of our future.”

“I respect the concerns of the people who came to our meeting,” said the Minority Leader.

Pelosi’s immigration event was effectively shut-down on Monday after a group of “undocumented immigrant youth” stormed the stage, slamming Pelosi for working with President Trump and demanding a “clean bill” that would allow them and their families to remain in the US indefinitely.
