ON THE BRINK: North Korea Poised to Launch Hydrogen Bomb into Pacific Ocean

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.11.17

North Korea threatened to launch a nuclear-tipped missile into the Pacific Ocean on Friday, escalating the war of words between President Trump and dictator Kim Jong Un after the President threatened to “totally destroy” the communist nation during his speech to the UN.

According to Fox News, North Korea’s Foreign Minister issued the threat in response to new US policies and regulations; a major crackdown on international businesses that continue to operate and trade with the hermit kingdom.

The official said Kim was preparing to launch a nuclear-equipped medium-range missile, adding “This could probably mean the strongest hydrogen bomb test over the Pacific Ocean. Regarding which measures to take, I don’t really know since it is what Kim Jong Un does.”

North Korea has successfully detonated six nuclear warheads, but all tests have been underground. So far, Kim’s regime hasn’t demonstrated it has the technical skills and ability needed to marry his nuclear warheads with his missile program.

If successful, this would a drastic escalation of tensions in the region, and could result in a nuclear fall-out for neighboring countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, and North Korea itself.
