HOST OF HORRORS: Lauer's NBC Office Had 'Secret Sex Door'

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.09.17

Disturbing details are slowly emerging about the various allegations of sexual assault against famed NBC ‘Today’ host Matt Lauer, with multiple sources saying the reporter had a “secret button” under his desk which would remotely lock his office door; transforming the workplace into his private lair.

According to a bombshell report from Variety, Lauer installed a secret “button” under his desk at 30 Rock that allowed him to lock the door without having to stand up; saying the feature “afforded him the assurance of privacy” that allowed him to “initiate contact” with his female employees and co-workers.

“His office was in a secluded space, and he had a button under his desk that allowed him to lock his door from the inside without getting up,” writes Variety. “This afforded him the assurance of privacy. It allowed him to welcome female employees and initiate inappropriate contact while knowing nobody could walk in on him, according to two women who were sexually harassed by Lauer.”

The revelation raises serious questions over how much information NBC executives knew –and how much they suppressed- about Lauer’s vast history of sexual misconduct allegations, and whether the network actively covered-up his illicit behavior.

“They protected the s*** out of Matt Lauer,” said a former NBC reporter.
