ABRAMS CLAIM: Stacey Abrams Says She Was Nearly Blocked from Voting in Georgia Election

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.21.18

Democratic candidate in Georgia’s gubernatorial race Stacey Abrams claimed she was nearly blocked from voting this week; doubling-down on her previous comments that “voter suppression” led to an “unfair” midterm election.

Abrams was speaking with NPR when she stated an Election Day staffer attempted to stop her from casting her ballot; saying “The day I voted, I had to correct the poll worker who said I had filed for an absentee ballot.”

“I did it quietly. I didn’t turn it into a major conversation because, for me, it was about getting through the process,” she added. “But it was also emblematic to me of the privilege that I have.”

“I know the law … There are thousands, millions in Georgia who do not know what their rights are and therefore do not know that they shouldn’t have to wait in four-hour lines in the rain with their children. They shouldn’t have to worry about whether they will lose their jobs in order to exercise their democratic right to vote for their leader,” said Abrams

DEM DENIAL: Stacey Abrams ‘ASSEMBLES LEGAL TEAM’ to Fight Georgia’s Election Results

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.08.18

Democratic candidate for Governor of Georgia Stacey Abrams is escalating her legal fight against the GOP’s Brian Kemp; refusing to concede the race and “assembling a legal team” to contest the results.

“Democrat Stacey Abrams’s team announced she’s filing litigation in a Georgia county, at a Thursday news conference after Georgia Republican Brian Kemp claimed victory in the governor’s race Wednesday,” writes the Daily Caller.

Abrams’ argument centers around her claim that absentee ballots in specific districts were not delivered to voters in time for the 2018 midterm elections.

“Our point is the one that has been made twice now,” said her lawyer. “To put it very simply all the votes haven’t been counted. How can anybody claim a victory when there are enough votes that have not been counted that could cause a runoff here? … We believe everybody is entitled to have their vote counted.”

Kemp currently leads Abrams 50.3% to 48.7%.

DEMOCRAT DESPERATION: Stacey Abrams FILES LAWSUIT Over Georgia Midterm Defeat

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.12.18

Democrat Stacey Abrams filed a lawsuit this week surrounding her midterm defeat in Georgia’s gubernatorial race; claiming countless ballots were “rejected” using “arbitrary and unlawful” techniques.

According to the Washington Examiner, Abrams’ campaign formally requested a judge “resurrect” over 1,095 ballots that were discarded during the 2018 midterm election and delay the vote certification that would designate her GOP opponent -Brian Kemp- as the formal winner.

“The plaintiffs add that they believe there may be more absentee ballots in other counties, pointing to DeKalb County in particular, there were denied due to missing or insufficient oath information,” writes the Examiner.

“Stacey Abrams and her radical backers have moved from desperation to delusion,” Kemp campaign spokesman Ryan Mahoney said. “Yesterday, military, overseas and provisional ballots were reported throughout Georgia. The counts are in line with publicly available tracking reports. This is not breaking news and does not change the math. Stacey Abrams lost and her concession is long overdue.”
