A local Antifa leader from the Washington, DC area was arrested on “multiple felony charges” in Philadelphia earlier this month, with authorities saying the man was wanted for an attack against two Marines late last year.
The anarchist activist now “faces 17 charges, including multiple counts of aggravated assault, ethnic intimidation, conspiracy and terroristic threats, and one count of robbery while inflicting serious bodily injury,” writes the Daily Caller.
The man is reportedly an organizer with Smash Racism DC, an Antifa-related organization behind the left-wing mob that attacked Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s DC home months ago.
The group was also responsible for accosting Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife as they dined in a Washington restaurant.

ANTIFA ASSAULT: Judge Refuses to DROP FELONY Charges Against Antifa Leader
A California judge refused to drop felony charges Thursday against a school teacher and self-described Antifa leader who allegedly incited violence at a political rally in Sacramento nearly two years ago.
Yvette Felarca, the 47-year-old spokesperson for Antifa-related organization By Any Means Necessary, is accused of “inciting and participating in a riot” in June 2016 when hundreds of protesters confronted white nationalist groups at a rally near the state Capitol.
A judge refused her lawyer’s claim that the charges were a politically charged “witch hunt” to harm the Antifa, or ‘Anti-Fascist’ movement.
“In the aftermath, the California Highway Patrol and Sacramento District Attorney have done nothing to prosecute the fascists who attempted to murder people in Sacramento,” the motion to dismiss stated.
“I think the judge’s decision was politically motivated; I don’t think it was valid,” added Felarca’s lawyer. “I think that this decision is regarded by all as being really outrageous.”

ANTIFA FAIL: DC Restaurant Confirms Cruz Returned After Attack, Finished ‘Exceptional’ Dinner
A spokesperson for the DC-area restaurant where Ted Cruz was confronted by Antifa activists Monday night confirmed the Texas Senator returned minutes after the attack; saying the lawmaker and his wife were able to “finish their exceptional meal” in silence.
The local eatery posted an official statement regarding the confrontation after video of the incident surfaced on social media, saying “Last night, protesters entered Fiola with the apparent purpose of confronting one of our guests.”
“When the situation resolved a few minutes later, our guests returned to thank the staff for their support and to finish their exceptional meal,” added the statement.
According to @fioladc chef/owner Fabio Trabocchi, @tedcruz & Heidi Cruz returned to the restaurant they were forced out of last night. After the protestors left, the Cruzes apparently came back and finished their meal in peace. pic.twitter.com/fM967Ow4Zs

Cruz and his wife are the latest example of prominent Republicans to be harassed in public. Earlier this year, Rep. Maxine Waters urged her supporters to confront senior Trump officials and supporters at “gas stations” and “department stores.”
