AUSTIN ON EDGE: ‘Trip Wire’ Explosion ROCKS TEXAS, 2 Injured

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.19.18

A fourth explosion rocked Austin, Texas Sunday evening; injuring two bicyclists as local and federal authorities scramble to find the culprit behind the seemingly random attacks before the attacker can strike again.

According to Fox News, the blast was possibly caused when the bicyclists triggered a ‘trip wire,’ signaling the suspect has a more “advanced” knowledge of bomb-making than previously thought and may be preparing to ratchet up the sophistication of their attacks.

“If this explosion was the result of a bomb using trip wire technology, that is showing a different level of skill above that we were already concerned that this suspect or suspects may possess,” said Austin Police Chief Brian Manley.

“That changes things, in that our safety message to this point has been involving the handling of packages and telling communities ‘do not handle packages, do not pick up packages, do not disturb packages,’” he added.

“Two men in their 20s suffered non-life threatening injuries in the blast, including one who had nails in his leg,” writes Fox.

If confirmed by the FBI and ATF, this would be the fourth explosion to rock the Texan capital in as many weeks.

SERIAL BOMBER? Third Explosion in TWO WEEKS Rocks Austin, Leaves Teenager Dead

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.12.18

Local law enforcement and federal agents from the ATF and FBI are on the scene in Austin, Texas after a third explosion in two weeks left a teenager dead and one woman seriously injured Monday; raising fears the “random” attacks may be the work of a serial bomber.

“Austin Police said they received a call about the first explosion in a neighborhood on the northeast side of the city around 6:45 a.m., after the 17-year-old resident found a package on the front step, brought it inside, and opened it in the kitchen where it exploded,” writes Fox News.

“There are similarities that we cannot rule out that these two items are, in fact, related,” said Austin Police Chief Brian Manley.

The Austin-Travis County Emergency Services twitter account posted information of the attack on social media earlier Monday, saying “Multiple #ATCEMS @Austin_Police @AustinFireInfo onscene of a reported explosion at 4800 block of Oldfort Hill Dr (06:44); 2 pts identified thus far with Medics obtaining DOS pronouncement of late teens Male & ~40’s F txpt’d to DSMC w/serious potentially life threat inj’s. LATE NIGHT LECTURE: Jimmy Kimmel MOCKS ‘MENTALLY ILL’ Trump After Florida Shooting

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.16.18

Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel took his war against President Trump to a new level Thursday night, slamming the Commander-in-Chief as “mentally ill” following the devastating school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

The liberal comic viciously attacked the President while commenting on the tragedy that took place earlier this week, when seventeen individuals lost their lives after a 19-year old former student opened fire at a local high school.

“You’ve literally done nothing,” said Kimmel. “Actually, you’ve done worse than nothing. You like to say this is a mental health issue. One of your very first acts as president, Mr. Trump, was to actually roll back the regulations that were designed to keep firearms out of the hands of the mentally ill.”

“You did that. Your party voted to repeal the mandates on coverage for mental health. So, I agree, this is a mental illness issue, because if you don’t think we need to do something about it, you’re obviously mentally ill,” he added.
