BERNIE UNLOADS: Sanders Says He has ‘Fundamental Differences’ with Hillary, Won’t Seek Her Advice

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.28.19

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders flat-out refused to accept campaign advice from his former Democratic rival Hillary Clinton Friday; saying he has “fundamental differences” with the twice-failed presidential nominee.

“We’re hearing about a lot of Democratic candidates who are meeting with Hillary Clinton for advice… Do you think you’ll do the same?” asked The View’s Meghan McCain.

“I suspect not. She has not called me. Look, we have differences. Hillary has played a very important role in modern American politics,” said Sanders.

“I think every Democrat is going to come together… What’s most important is that Trump gets defeated. But Hillary and I have fundamental differences,” he added.

BERNED AGAIN? CNN Under Fire for ‘Stacking the Audience’ Against Bernie Sanders at Town Hall

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.27.19

CNN is under fire from liberal activists and media outlets after allegedly stacking their recent Bernie Sanders town hall event with members of the Democratic Party and other centrist organizations.

CNN has been accused of failing to disclose Democratic Party ties of several attendees who were able to ask 2020 presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders questions during the network’s town hall on Monday,” reports Fox News.

“Paste writer Jacob Weindling questioned whether CNN stacked the audience against the Democratic Socialist by not disclosing the background of some of the participants,” adds the article. “Paste Magazine pointed out that at least four attendees have deep roots in the Democratic Party and the D.C. lobby.”

BERNIE’S ADMISSION: Sanders Says Universal Healthcare Will Cause ‘Pain,’ But is Worth It

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.08.18

Bernie Sanders publicly admitted Thursday that implementing a single-payer, government guaranteed healthcare system will likely cost people their jobs and will cause “pain,” but is ultimately worth it.

Sanders was speaking with CNN this week when he was pressed on his support for a government-run healthcare system, saying the US needs to “transition” the nation’s insurance programs towards a single-payer program.

“You have people hounding doctors about what kind of medicine they should be able to use. So forth and so on. Will those people lose their jobs when we have healthcare-for-all guaranteed through a single payer system? The answer is, yes,” said the Vermont senator.

“We’ll create more jobs under a rational Medicare-for-all system than currently exists. There will be a transition just in the same way as we have to transform our energy system away from fossil fuel. We create more jobs, but there will be pain and you got to deal with that pain,” he added.

Sanders’ comments come just hours after House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi hinted the Democrats may pursue a ‘Medicare for All’ system should her party retake control of Congress this fall.
