DNC Chairman Tom Perez delivered remarks to liberal supporters at an “indoor Latin mall” in Atlanta, Georgia this week, speaking to a nearly empty room as Democrats struggle to connect with American voters just months ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.
Perez was speaking at the Plaza Fiesta shopping center Wednesday when he slammed President Trump and the GOP-controlled Congress; telling the left-wing activists to “get out and vote” this November.
“Michelle Obama always said, ‘We they go low, we go high.’ I have a variant of that. When they go low, we go vote,” said Perez to the nearly empty room.

“And when we put fear on the ballot, we don’t do so hot. Let’s face it, fear won in 2016, but let’s also face it, hope is making a huge comeback,” he added.

DEMOCRAT DENIAL: Pelosi, Perez BLAST Booming Economy as ‘RECKLESS’ and ‘RAW DEAL’
The Democratic Party continued to double-down on its predictions of “doom and gloom” surrounding the soaring US economy Friday; slamming June’s positive jobs report that showed a record number of Americans taking part in the labor force.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi blasted the strong numbers as a “raw deal” on social media, saying “The June #JobsReport shows what is at stake from the brewing storm of rising health costs, spiraling trade uncertainty & an economy being hollowed out to enrich big corporations & the wealthiest 1 percent.”

DNC Chair Tom Perez echoed Pelosi’s comments Friday, saying President Trump’s “reckless policies are hurting millions of hardworking families.”
“With slow wage growth, rising health care premiums, and skyrocketing gas prices across the country, Donald Trump’s reckless policies are hurting millions of hardworking families,” said Perez in a written statement.
“Trump and Republicans in Congress have been so determined to undermine workers that they held a Supreme Court seat hostage for nearly a year in order to nominate an aggressively anti-union justice, who became the deciding vote in last week’s disgraceful decision in the Janus case,” he adds.

THE PITY PARTY: Pelosi Slams ‘GOP TAX SCAM,’ Perez Says Job Growth ‘RECKLESS’
The Democratic Party’s outright-denial surrounding the booming US economy was on full-display Friday, as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi slammed the “GOP Tax Scam” and called for “bigger paychecks” for American workers.
“July’s jobs report shows that the wealthiest 1 percent and big corporations continue to hoard the benefits of the GOP Tax Scam for the rich, while American workers are denied the bigger paychecks they deserve,” said the House Minority Leader.

DNC Chair Tom Perez echoed Pelosi’s comments on a written statement, saying the President’s “reckless” policies were hurting “millions of hardworking families.”
“Donald Trump’s reckless policies continue to hurt millions of hardworking families. Despite the promises Donald Trump made to the American people, Trump’s economy isn’t helping most Americans. Corporations have used their tax windfalls to line the pockets of their rich executives, not to increase wages for their workers. Meanwhile, workers at places like Harley-Davidson are losing their jobs,” read Perez’ statement.
