BLUE WAVE CRASHING: Poll Shows Americans Side with TRUMP on Economy, Security

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.14.18

The mainstream media’s highly-anticipated “blue wave” is turning into a potential “red tide” ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, with new polls showing Americans overwhelmingly side with the President on the economy and national security.

A new survey published by Zogby Analytics shows likely voters “trust” the White House on key issues facing American families just months before voters head to the polls to decide the fate of Congress.

When asked “Who do you Trust more?” on handling economic issues, 41% of those asked said the President, compared to 35% who said the Democrats.

Trump also topped liberal lawmakers 40% to 38% when asked about national security.

“Could Trump prove to be the difference maker for Republicans in 2018? The data does point in this direction but the election is still six months out. Now Republican congressional candidates must decide if they want President Trump to blaze the campaign trail for them. That could prove to be wise at the moment,” said the poll.

DNC DISASTER: Republicans GAIN in NEW POLLS After ‘Schumer Shutdown’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.14.18

New polling shows Republicans heading into the pivotal 2018 midterm elections with the wind at their backs; erasing Democratic gains for the first time since last spring as President Trump’s approval ratings continue to rise.

According to Politico, President Trump’s job performance inched higher following a disastrous month for Democrats; with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer caving on DACA, the budget, and the government shutdown.

“Fully 39 percent of registered voters say they would support the GOP candidate for Congress in their district, while 38 percent would back the Democratic candidate. Nearly a quarter of voters, 23 percent, are undecided,” writes Politico.

The polls show GOP candidates wiping out Democratic gains in recent months, shrinking their ten point generic advantage to a one point deficit against their Republican opponents.

The new data also shows President Trump’s approval rating matching his disapproval rating at 47%.

“Not only have Republicans increased support on the generic congressional ballot, they are now trusted more to handle the most important issue when voters head to the polls: the economy,” Morning Consult’s co-founder told Politico.

BLUE WAVE CRASHING: Pelosi VOWS to Run for Speaker if DEMS Take Congress

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.03.18

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi set off alarm bells throughout Democratic circles Thursday, confirming her plans to run for Speaker of the House should her party retake control of Congress after the 2018 midterms.

Pelosi’s comments were warmly received by Republicans across the country heading into the elections; with GOP strategists planning to tie their opponents to the unpopular Democrat as American voters head to the polls.

“We will win. I will run for speaker. I feel confident about it. And my members do, too,” Pelosi told the Boston Globe this week.

“It’s important that it not be five white guys at the table, no offense,” she added, referencing the top positions in Congress and the White House. “I have no intention of walking away from that table.”

“She is the most unpopular politician in every single competitive district in the country,” said a spokesperson for the National Republican Congressional Committee, who welcomed the news of her run for Speaker of the House.
