BREAKING: Supreme Court UPHOLDS TRUMP’S ‘TRAVEL BAN’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.26.18

The Supreme Court of the United States ruled Tuesday that President Trump’s highly-contested ‘travel ban’ is within his constitutional rights to protect the citizens of the United States; adding the immigration restrictions did not amount to “discrimination.”

The 5-4 decision effectively ends multiple lower court decisions that blocked the revised guidelines just hours after the ban was to take effect.

Chief Justice Roberts said the restrictions fall within presidential power to regulate “immigration” and rejected critics claims of anti-Muslim bias.

The ‘travel ban’ impacts travelers from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, North Korea, and Venezuela.

Challengers to the President’s policy claim the restrictions were motivated by religious bias, while supporters claim the move was necessary to help protect the US from visitors without a proper vetting process.

BIAS ALERT: Mueller's No. 2 SECRETLY SLAMMED Trump's Travel Ban

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.15.17

A senior-level prosecutor now serving as a Deputy to special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia-Trump investigation found himself in hot-water on Tuesday, following reports he praised acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she publicly defied President Trump’s travel ban last January, reports Fox News.

The correspondence, obtained by government watch-dog agency Judicial Watch, shows that Andrew Weissmann emailed Yates in late January with the subject line, “I am so proud.”

“And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects,” the email continued.

Sally Yates was publicly fired by President Trump after she refused to enforce his executive order regarding immigration and refugees from specific countries around the world.

The news follows another revelation that a senior investigator inside the special counsel’s office was demoted earlier this year for his “anti-Trump bias;” being relocated to the Human Resources Department at the FBI after his “unprofessional” text exchanges were reviewed by Mueller’s team.

“Andrew Weisman, a key prosecutor on Robert Mueller’s team, praised Obama DOJ holdover Sally Yates after she lawlessly thwarted President Trump,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

“How much more evidence do we need that the Mueller operation has been irredeemably compromised by anti-Trump partisans?” he asked.

BREAKING: US Supreme Court Drops Hearings on Trump Travel Ban

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.23.17

DEVELOPING STORY

The United States Supreme Court dropped scheduled hearings over President Trump’s signature travel ban on Monday, clearing the case from its official schedule until further notice.

The Supreme Court asked all parties involved in the arguments to file additional material and briefs relating to the President’s travel restrictions; saying Trump’s newly revised federal guidelines render the previous cases against his executive order “moot.”

The Trump administration released new guidelines on Sunday after the conclusion of the 90-day initial order; renewing the travel ban for all previously barred nations except Sudan, and adding Venezuela, North Korea, and Chad to the list of restricted nationalities.

Trump’s new policies strike at the heart of liberal criticism of the bill that claimed the order was a “de facto Muslim ban,” as both North Korea outlaws all religion and Venezuela is a predominately Christian nation.
