CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Federal Judge BLOCKS Trump’s Fight to End ‘Sanctuary Cities’

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.05.18

A federal judge officially blocked the Trump administration’s quest to crackdown on California’s ‘Sanctuary City’ policies Thursday; rebuking the White House’s efforts to stop local municipalities from shielding illegal immigrants from federal agents.

According to Politico, U.S. District Court Judge John Mendez of Sacramento rebuked the President’s attempts to fight the state’s ‘Sanctuary’ policies, stopping the Dept. of Justice’s efforts to retrieve detailed information from California officials regarding undocumented workers.

“While the ruling is a setback for the Trump administration’s attempt to enforce immigration laws in states where leaders favor more liberal policies, Mendez did block parts of one of the disputed California laws, including provisions that banned private employers from voluntarily cooperating with immigration officials and from re-verifying the legal work status of employees,” writes Politico.

“Refusing to help is not the same as impeding,” wrote the judge’s decision. “Federal objectives will always be furthered if states offer to assist federal efforts. A state’s decision not to assist in those activities will always make the federal object more difficult to attain than it would be otherwise. Standing aside does not equate to standing in the way.”

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Local Community FIGHTS BACK Against ‘Sanctuary’ TENT CITY

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.26.18

Local residents in southern California are fighting back against a two-mile long stretch of makeshift homeless shelters in Orange County; demanding officials crackdown on “human waste” and “used needles” that riddle the encampment, reports Fox News.

In stark contrast from local governments in Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Orange County authorities are beginning to clamp down on the tent city, describing the “illegal” housing as a major public health concern.

“It’s becoming part of the permanent landscape in those communities and there is no way we are going to allow Orange County land that is supposed to be used by residents to be occupied by the homeless,” said a member of the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

In response to public pressure, the county council cleared nearly 25 tons of trash, over 1,000 pounds of “human waste” and over 5,000 needles from the camp.

The ACLU and other human rights activists have denounced the move, filing a civil rights lawsuit to stop the county’s crackdown after the decision was officially approved by the council.

‘That isn’t going to happen in our county. It’s not going to be our skid row,” added the Orange County supervisor.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Residents Flee ‘Sanctuary’ San Francisco’s ‘DISEASED STREETS’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.20.18

San Francisco residents are fleeing the ‘City by the Bay’ in record numbers as crime, illegal immigration, drug use, and homelessness transform the city’s once-beautiful streets into “trash littered” blocks covered in “piles of feces.”

According to a recent study released by NBC News, investigators found at least 41 blocks within the city limits covered in used needles with 96 blocks “sullied with feces.”

“How dirty is San Francisco? An NBC Bay Area Investigation reveals a dangerous mix of drug needles, garbage, and feces throughout downtown San Francisco,” writes NBC.

“As the Investigative Unit photographed nearly a dozen hypodermic needles scattered across one block, a group of preschool students happened to walk by on their way to an afternoon field trip to city hall,” the report adds.

The study echoes similar reports from earlier this month, with CBS News claiming people were emigrating from the Bay Area in record numbers; citing sanctuary city laws as a primary reason to relocate as drug use and criminal activity escalates daily.

“I loved it here when I first got here. I really loved it here. But it’s just not the same,” said one software engineer. “We don’t like it here anymore. You know, we don’t like this sanctuary state status and just the politics.”
