Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau pledged to help his nation’s largest city as it struggled to cope with a “large influx” of migrants Friday; telling the Mayor of Toronto the national government “will be there.”
Trudeau was speaking with Toronto Mayor John Tory Friday when the local leader asked for help in handling the region’s escalating immigration crisis; saying “we’re there for people in challenging situations.”
“Canadians, we’re there for each other. We’re there for people in challenging situations and we know that we have to continue to demonstrate that our immigration system is strong and applies while staying true to our values,” said the Prime Minister.
The Toronto government has spent an estimated $65 million to house more than 3,000 refugees currently residing within the city limits.
“Neither leader said whether contingency plans were being put in place to deal with the 800 refugee claimants now housed in two Toronto college dorms who will have no place to go as of Aug. 9,” writes the Globe and Mail.

TRUDEAU TANKS: Canadian Prime Minister SAVAGELY MOCKED for India Trip DISASTER
Canadian Prime Minister and liberal “darling” Justin Trudeau was severely mocked -and at times harshly criticized- for his recent visit to India; with his country’s Indian and Sikh community slamming the left-wing leader’s actions and clothing as “insensitive” and “stereotypical.”
The Canadian First Family’s visit was riddled with cultural and political mistakes from the start; with Trudeau’s wife unknowingly posing for a photograph with a Sikh separatist convicted of an assassination plot against a prominent Indian leader.
“Obviously we take this situation extremely seriously,” Trudeau said after the photograph. “The individual in question never should have received an invitation. As soon as we found out, we rescinded the invitation immediately.”
The criticism went from bad to worse, with many on social media mocking the Prime Minister’s choice of “traditional” clothing; saying “FYI we Indians don’t dress like this every day sir, not even in Bollywood.”
Is it just me or is this choreographed cuteness all just a bit much now? Also FYI we Indians don’t dress like this every day sir, not even in Bollywood. pic.twitter.com/xqAqfPnRoZ

TRUDEAU TURNS: The Canadian PM ‘BLAMES AMERICA’ for Immigration Problems
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is openly blaming the United States for his country’s illegal immigration problem; saying his negotiations to create an “invisible” border wall between the two nations have “fallen apart.”
Trudeau’s dramatic U-turn comes nearly 15 months after the liberal politician “invited” asylum seekers into Canada. Since then, nearly 26,000 migrants have traveled to the country after passing through the United States.

Trudeau first invited the world’s immigrants after President Trump announced his initial “travel ban” from specific, troubled-nations.
“To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you,” he tweeted.
The Prime Minister now seeks to change the original law, requiring those seeking asylum in Canada to “first” register with their nation of origin; in this case the United States.
