The apparent loser in Tuesday’s highly-contested special election in Ohio slammed the President Wednesday morning; saying Trump “doesn’t know what he’s talking about” just hours after he lost to the GOP candidate.
Democrat Danny O’Connor lashed-out at the Commander-in-Chief during a recent interview on CNN, claiming Republican Troy Balderson “can have all the people he wants fly in from DC” to help sway the election.
"I don't think he knows what he's talking about," says Danny O'Connor, Democratic candidate for OH-12, of Trump backing his opponent: "Troy Balderson can have all the people he wants fly in from DC. I don't think it makes too much of a difference" https://t.co/9AtD7t8GWg pic.twitter.com/NzgA0Gdbj9

The President praised Balderson’s victory on social media late Tuesday evening, saying the GOP candidate will “win big” when he defends his House seat this November.
IT BEGINS: Democrats Blame RUSSIA, GREEN PARTY for Ohio Defeat
With the official vote tally unpublished and the liberal candidate refusing to concede, Democrats are already blaming a host of external factors for an apparent defeat in Tuesday’s Ohio special election; claiming Russia and the Green Party led to the GOP victory.
Liberals and left-leaning supporters across the country took to Twitter to slam the Kremlin and the third-party candidate just hours after Trump-backed Troy Balderson declared a narrow victory over Democrat Danny O’Connor.
You know what sucks?
Because of our unwillingness to pass policy that protects our election integrity, I immediately think the Green Party votes tonight are Russian meddling.
Why else would anyone cast a protest vote in Ohio when there’s so much at stake?#OH12

“Hi. I’m a Green Party voter. I love the environment so damn much I keep accidentally electing climate-change deniers who are owned by the fossil fuel industry. Do I get a cookie now for being a nonconformist?”

The President hailed Balderson’s special election victory on social media Tuesday night, saying he will “win big” when he defends his House seat this November.
MAGA IN OHIO: Trump-Backed GOP Candidate WINS Special Election
The Trump-backed GOP candidate in Ohio’s special election claimed victory Tuesday night; reportedly defeating his Democratic challenger and denying liberal lawmakers an additional seat in the House of Representatives.
The President campaigned hard for Republican State Senator Troy Balderson in the days leading up to this week’s special election; promoting the candidate as Democrats hoped a landslide victory would signal disaster for the GOP heading into the 2018 midterms.
“When I decided to go to Ohio for Troy Balderson, he was down in early voting 64 to 36. That was not good. After my speech on Saturday night, there was a big turn for the better. Now Troy wins a great victory during a very tough time of the year for voting. He will win BIG in Nov,” tweeted Trump.
