DEFIANT DOWN UNDER: Australia CUTS FUNDS to Palestinian Authority Over Terror Ties

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.02.18

The Australian government officially “terminated” its annual donation to the Palestinian Authority this week, saying they cut the funds after the PA refused to comment on whether foreign money was being funneled to the families of deceased terrorists.

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop unveiled her government’s decision on social media Monday, saying the money will be directed to the United Nation’s Humanitarian Fund instead.

“Australia has terminated our annual $10m funding to Palestinian Authority, redirecting funds to @UN Humanitarian Fund to fund basic needs of Palestinian women and families,” she tweeted.

“I wrote to the Palestinian Authority (PA) on 29 May, to seek clear assurance that Australian funding is not being used to assist Palestinians convicted of politically motivated violence,” writes Bishop.

“I am confident that previous Australian funding to the PA through the World Bank has been used as intended. However, I am concerned that in providing funds for this aspect of the PA’s operations there is an opportunity for it to use its own budget to activities that Australia would never support,” she adds.

HALEY UNCHAINED: Nikki Haley GRILLS Palestinian President at UN

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.25.18

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley grilled Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas at a UN Security Council meeting Thursday, blasting the leader for bolstering “outrageous and discredited conspiracy theories” regarding Israel and the United States.

According to Fox News, Haley launched her attack on Abbas at a high-level meeting covering the Middle East peace process, slamming the Palestinian President for attempting to boot the US from negotiations with their Israeli counterparts.

“We will not accept for the U.S. to be a mediator, because after what they have done to us — a believer shall not be stung twice in the same place,” Abbas told the New York Times.

“He rejected any American role in peace talks. He insulted the American president. He called for suspending recognition of Israel,” said the UN Ambassador. “He invoked an ugly and fictional past, reaching back to the 17th century to paint Israel as a colonialist project engineered by European powers.”

“A speech that indulges in outrageous and discredited conspiracy theories is not the speech of a person with the courage and will to seek real peace,” she added.

ISRAEL ON EDGE: Thousands of Palestinians PROTEST, Multiple Fatalities Reported

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.30.18

Hundreds of injuries and multiple fatalities are reported after thousands of Palestinians launched a massive protest against Israeli forces Friday; attacking a border fence in the Hamas-controlled territory of Gaza.

According to the Times of Israel, at least seven people were killed in the clashes ahead of the Jewish holiday of Passover, with Israeli Defense Forces estimating over 20,000 demonstrators launched what they described as a “March of Return.”

“The army said organizers of the protests were deliberately trying to place civilians in harm’s way, and cited an incident in which it said a seven-year-old girl was sent to the security fence in an apparent cynical attempt to draw Israeli fire,” writes the Times.

The demonstrations are the largest protests seen in the region since President Trump officially declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel; sparking protests throughout Palestinian territory as well as other major cities in the Middle East.
