DEMOCRAT SENATOR: US ‘Political Climate’ Similar to RWANDAN GENOCIDE

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.30.18

Florida Sen. Bill Nelson weighed-in on the string of political attacks that have rocked the United States in recent weeks; bizarrely suggesting the political climate in the country was similar to that of the Rwandan Genocide.

Nelson -who faces a tough re-election battle against outgoing Governor Rick Scott- made the comments while speaking at a Florida Church Sunday night; saying American politics has become increasingly “tribal.”

“When a place gets so tribal that the two tribes won’t have anything to do with each other … that jealousy turns into hate,” Nelson said. “And we saw what happened to the Hutus and the Tutsis in Rwanda, it turned into a genocide. A million-people hacked to death within a few months. And we have got to watch what’s happening here.”

The Rwandan Genocide is widely regarded as one of the worst mass atrocities in world history; with an estimated 800,000 civilians viciously murdered in 1994.

GOOD AND EVIL: Jewish Doctors, Nurses Rushed to Save Synagogue Shooter

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.29.18

A team of Jewish doctors and nurses at Allegheny General Hospital rushed to save the life of alleged Synagogue shooter Robert Bowers over the weekend; tending to the suspect after he opened fire at a nearby House of Worship and killed eleven people.

According to Fox News, “Robert Bowers, 46, was shot multiple times himself and taken to AGH. In addition to killing eight men and three women, he wounded six other people, including four police officers, before surrendering Saturday.”

“He was taken to my hospital and he’s shouting, ‘I want to kill all the Jews’,” Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, president of Allegheny General Hospital and a member of the Tree of Life Synagogue said. “The first three people who took care of him were Jewish.”

“We are here to take care of sick people. We’re not here to judge you. We’re not here to ask ‘Do you have insurance or do you not have insurance?’ We’re here to take care of people who need our help,” he added.

“I said I’m Dr. Cohen, president of the hospital. Then I turned around and left,” said Cohen. “The FBI agent who was guarding him said, ‘I don’t know if I could have done that.’ And I said, ‘If you were in my shoes, I’m sure you could.’”

UPDATE: Federal Prosecutors to Seek the DEATH PENALTY for Synagogue Shooter

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.29.18

Federal prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for the suspect behind this weekend’s deadly assault inside the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; saying he should receive the ultimate penalty after murdering 11 people during his hate-filled massacre.

“Marc Raimondi, a spokesman for the U.S. Department of Justice, said the U.S. attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania ‘has initiated the approval process’ to seek the death penalty for 46-year-old Robert Bowers,” writes Fox News.

“The ultimate decision regarding capital charges rests with the U.S. attorney general, Jeff Sessions,” Maimondi told Fox News in a statement.

According to prosecutors, Bowers entered the Tree of Life Synagogue in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood armed with multiple firearms; shooting indiscriminately during Saturday morning services.

Eleven people -eight men and three women- were killed during the rampage.
