DEMS DEFLECT: DNC Boss Says Congresswoman's ‘Motherf***er’ Comment a Result of ‘Passion’

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.09.19

DNC Boss Tom Perez joined the growing chorus of Democrats deflecting criticism from Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s vicious attack against President Trump this week; saying her ‘Impeach the mother***er’ comment was simply a result of her “passion.”

“Here’s the reality,” Perez said. “There’s a lot of passion in Washington. Sometimes when you’re passionate, you say things that aren’t artful as you like them to be.”

Speaker Pelosi and Sen. Kamala Harris also defended Tlaib’s comments this week; saying they were “no big deal” and she isn’t the “first elected person to curse in public.”

“The use of that language was a teachable moment for me,” Rashida told reporters in Michigan. “I understand I am a member of Congress, and I don’t want anything that I do or say to distract us. That is the only thing I apologize for, is that it was a distraction.”

'NO BIG DEAL': Pelosi Refuses to Condemn Colleague Who Called Trump ‘Motherf***er’

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.04.19

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi refused to condemn a fellow Democrat who viciously called President Trump a ‘motherf***er’ just hours after being sworn in; saying “I’m not in the censorship business.”

Pelosi was asked to comment on Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s fiery speech at an event hosted by MoveOn.org Thursday night; telling a crowd of supporters the Democrats are “going to impeach that motherf***er!”

“I probably have a generational reaction to it,” Pelosi said. “But in any event, I’m not in the censorship business. I don’t like that language, I wouldn’t use that language. I don’t … establish any language standards for my colleagues, but I don’t think it’s anything worse than what the president has said.”

“Generationally, that would not be language I would use, but nonetheless, I don’t think we should make a big deal of it,” she added.

NO BIG DEAL: Kamala Harris Defends Congresswoman’s ‘Impeach the Motherf***er’ Comments

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.08.19

Sen. Kamala Harris vehemently deflected criticism away from Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s vicious anti-Trump rhetoric Tuesday; saying “she’s not the first elected person to curse in public.”

“I mean honestly, my candid response is that she is not the first, nor will she be the last, elected person to curse in public,” Harris, D-Calif., said on ABC’s “The View.” “That’s my response.”

Tlaib made national headlines just hours after her swearing-in ceremony last week; telling a crowd of supporters that congressional Democrats will “Impeach the Motherf***er” after taking control of the House of Representatives.
