DEMS IN DENIAL: Chuck Schumer Says Economy ‘May Look Good’ BUT…

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.02.18

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer weighed-in on Friday’s stunning economic report that showed rapid job growth and the largest wage increase in over a decade; saying the numbers “may look good” but actually “mean little” to most American families.

Schumer posted his scathing response to the Bureau of Labor Statistics recent jobs report on social media, writing “Latest jobs numbers may look good but don’t forget they coexist with a huge deficit-ballooning GOP tax break mainly for corporations for which we’ll pay a price down the road. When families see their health care costs go up because of GOP actions, these numbers will mean little.”

Friday’s job report shows the US economy added 250,000 private jobs in October, wages rose 3.1%, historic low unemployment among Hispanic-Americans, and the most number of Americans employed in US history.

CHUCK’S BAD DAY: Schumer Backtracks from Trump Impeachment Plot, Says he Misheard Question

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.04.18

Senator Chuck Schumer’s office released an official statement Tuesday surrounding the liberal legislator’s recent call for President Trump’s impeachment; claiming the Senate Minority Leader misheard the question while speaking with supporters.

Schumer raised eyebrows throughout Washington on an already chaotic day when he shockingly admitted Trump’s impeachment will happen “the sooner the better.”

According to the Senator’s office, he thought the supporter asked “When will you defeat Trump?” rather than “impeach Trump?”

“After a number of questions along the parade route about the fate of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, the Senator believed he was being asked, ‘when will you defeat Trump,’ and responded, ‘the sooner the better,’ noting that we need Republicans to defeat the nomination,” Schumer spokesman Matt House said. “As he has said many times and continues to believe, talk of impeachment is premature, and Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation should be allowed to continue without any interference.”

DEMOCRAT DELUSION: Schumer Calls Big Bonuses 'CRUMBS' for Working Families

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.26.18

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer doubled-down on Democratic talking points regarding the recently passed GOP tax cuts on Friday; echoing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s non-stop insistence that increased wages and big bonuses were simply “pathetic crumbs” given to American workers.

Schumer was speaking on the Senate floor when he predictably attacked the GOP-led tax overhaul, saying middle-class Americans were “getting crumbs” while large companies and corporations were getting “nice fat pieces of pie.”

“When the American people learn that some of them are not getting anything, some of them are getting raises, and the rest are getting crumbs; and big corporations and wealthy individuals are getting nice, fat pieces of pie… they’re going to be outraged,” said Schumer. “They are already.”

The Minority Leader’s comments come as the nation’s largest corporations announce their plans to reinvest in the United States and pay out big bonuses and higher wages to American-based workers.

This week, Home Depot joined AT&T, Visa, Walmart, American Airlines, Disney, and other companies pledging to expand benefits and raise earnings after President Trump signed the sweeping overhaul of the nation’s outdated tax code into law.
